We hope you all had a nice Christmas and peaceful New Year.

There is no doubt 2011 will be an interesting one for holidaymakers, what with the air travel, exchange rates, oil prices, and heaven knows what else. Quite apart from anything else many people are finding their finances squeezed and for the first time in many years are choosing to holiday in the UK this year. They are in for a treat, and we'd like to make everyone a VAT-bending offer of 10% off all bookings made before the end of January to help stretch those pennies to go further.

Last year was our first year of operation and it was a bit of a learning experience, but despite that our guests have been full of praise - just look at the comments some of them made on our website. In fact, over 80% of bookings were through word of mouth, and we plan to keep it that way.

October 2010 - Camelford's Peck ish has been judged as the top Fish and Chip shop in the South West region (Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Wiltshire, Avon, Dorset), in the Best Independent Takeaway Award category of the 2011 National Fish and Chip Awards.

This places Peck ish as one of the Top 10 Fish and Chip shops in the UK.

The grand final will be held in January 2011 to determine the UK winner.
