David Mitcham B.Mus. (Hons.) ARCM - Composer

David Mitcham is a widely experienced screen composer, arranger and sound designer

From a classical background, he has developed his skills to cover many styles of composition from orchestral music to jazz and music with ethnic influences. As a multi-instrumentalist he is also able to bring an acoustic warmth to his electronically-based scores.

David has his own studio in Wiltshire which is equipped with a state of the art digital recording system as well as synthesizers and samplers. He uses the Logic Audio music production system for music creation, score and part printing and sound manipulation. For projects using larger groups of musicians David has a good working relationship with studios such as Abbey Road, Angel, Whitfield Street and The Snake Ranch.

His team is used to working to tight timescales and can handle all aspects of the music production process.

David's music is performed by some outstanding musicians from the LSO, the LCO, the London Mozart Players, the Nash Ensemble, the BBC Concert Orchestra, the Delme String Quartet and the Joyful Company of Singers.
