Simon's composition won the Under-18 category. Congratulations!

Simon Nobbs was 17 years old when he entered the Surrey Brass Fanfare Contest.

He was a boarder at the Royal Alexandra and Albert School in Reigate and attends Reigate Sixth Form College where he worked towards his A-levels.

Simon played a central part in the musical life within the College and the School. As well as playing the violin, he is a self-taught electric bass player, singer and drummer.

He is a member of 2 chamber choirs, 1 rock band, 2 orchestras and 1 barbershop choir as well as many other ensembles. He is an enthusiastic composer and often records his new works.
