DEVELOPMENT
Although we intend to play the advertised programme, we reserve the right to
change it to respond to prevailing circumstances.
Founded
in 1980, the
Guildford Chamber Choir has committed and talented group of singers, and
also to see the choir going from strength to strength. We give 2 or 3 main
concerts per year which raise money for local charities. We sing by invitation
at Cathedrals such as Winchester, Southwark Salisbury and Chichester, and at St
George's Chapel, Windsor. We go on tour abroad, combining singing, sightseeing
and fun. Countries visited include France, Spain, Portugal, Hungary,
Poland, Germany and, most recently, Italy. We have made 2 recordings for BBC
Radio 3.
Surrey Brass
Surrey's innovative and entertaining brass ensemble, formed in 2001 are featured all over this site!
They have worked with many choirs including Concordia and Wessex Chamber Choir.
Holy Trinity is very old church with
an fabulous acoustic and atmosphere with a capacity of about 300 people.
It is situated in the centre of Guildford.
The Church has
limited facilities for the disabled, including wheelchair access, toilet
and parking facilities.
