Rehearsal Schedule and Venue

Schedule: General Rehearsals are at 7:30 on Wednesdays.
Please check the schedule regularly, things change, sometimes at short notice.
Additional rehearsals are normally scheduled prior to concerts, mostly on the day.

Guests are welcome to listen at all rehearsals.

Attendance: Players are asked to provide a deputy if they are unable to attend a rehearsal. This is considered professional courtesy and helps with preparation of the musical programme. Players are asked to make every effort to attend rehearsals immediately prior to concerts.

Venue: Rehearsals are normally held at
Reeds School, Sandy Lane, Cobham, Surrey KT11 2ES.

Social: We tend to visit The Victoria, Oxshott, after rehearsals.

When we are not at Reeds School, Surrey Brass use rehearsal locations and venues that are highly accessible by road and rail from within Surrey in the immediate vicinity of the M25 corridor.

Surrey Brass would like to work in different venues and acoustics. If you have a large hall with good acoustics for hire (for example a small theatre, school hall or similar) please contact us.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Parking at Reeds School.
Please use the proper car parks when rehearsing at Reeds School.
Reeds is a boarding school with many residents and only one road onto the site.
As a result, the school is extremely serious about 24 hour access for the emergency services to ensure the safety of pupils and staff.
Cars parked inconsiderately will lead to Reeds withdrawing our rehearsal facilities.
Please respect the parking rules at every rehearsal. Thank you.
