Arranged for Brass Quintet (2 Trumpets in Bb, Horn in F, Trombone, Tuba, with optional percussion parts and optional Brass Band instrumentation). Here's an mp3 preview.

1964’s South Of The Border peaked at #6 on the Billboard charts, and showed Herb’s magic touch on some of the era’s most popular hits.

Covers of Jobim’s “The Girl From Ipanema” and The Beatles’ “All My Loving” were set alongside Spanish love songs.
This one bops along in another great Hughes arrangement!

This arrangement is easy to play, but requires a bit of care before the group emulates the "Tijuana Brass sound" in style and rhythmic drive.

You can still buy the original album to hear what all the fuss was about, but on CD not the original crackly vinyl.

We find this arrangement is great for wedding receptions, especially when combined with the other Tijuana arrangements from our catalogue!
