riginally from Usk in South Wales and educated at Hereford Cathedral School, Corinne first started singing professionally in Cardiff with the BBC National Chorus of Wales as part of the choral scholar scheme and as a soloist for local choral societies in Wales, Herefordshire and Bristol. She made her operatic debuts in South Wales and at the Swaledale Festival in the North of England in the Handel Opera's "Acis and Galatea" as "Galatea" and in "Hercules" as "Iole". Her professional vocal training started at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama tutored by Buddug Verona James and Angela Livingston and she continued her operatic training at the Royal Academy of Music in London and on the Associated Performers Studio Opera Course in Hammersmith. Since graduating she has continued to be in demand as a soloist under the tutelage of Graeme Danby (ENO). Corinne has sung many Operatic roles including Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Adele (Die Fledermaus) Romilda (Xerxes) and Contessa (Le Nozze di Figaro).
Corinne made her international debut singing Erste Dame (Die Zauberflöte) in Weimar, Germany and Manon Lascaut (Puccini) in Puglia, Italy in 2014.
Corinne has recently sung recitals accompanied by Susie Allen and Stephen Higgins and has worked with and been coached by Richard Hetherington (Head of Music at Royal Opera House, Covent Garden) in Handel's Xerxes with Hampstead Garden Opera.
Recent oratorio works as a soloist include Mozart Requiem, Bach Cantata 147, Haydn Creation, Handel Messiah, Rutter Magnificat, Vaughan Williams Serenade to Music, Mendelssohn Elijah and Haydn Nelson Mass.
Corinne won "Voice of Godalming Festival 2018" after winning trophies across the board for classical singing.
Corinne recently sang the role of "Voice from Heaven" in Verdi's Don Carlo with Fulham Opera in November and she continues to be the soprano choral scholar for St Mary Magdalene in Richmond 2018-2019.
She is married to Jonathan Spencer who is currently (2019) the band master of the Royal Logistic Corps Band.
They live on an "army patch" near Woking with their two children, Max and Autumn and two very lazy cats, Colin and Garfield.
